What is containerized hosting exactly?

Every app runs in its own Docker container: an isolated, lightweight virtual runtime. No shared PHP versions or library conflicts like classic shared hosting. The container has its own network, storage and resource budget. We manage the runtime; you manage the app.

Do I get my own domain or subdomain?

By default you get a subdomain on virtualcomputing.app (e.g. yourapp.virtualcomputing.app) with SSL. Custom domain attached at any time — we handle DNS and the Let's Encrypt certificate.

Where is my data stored?

All containers run in two ISO 27001-certified data centres in the Netherlands (Amsterdam and Eindhoven). No hops via the US or non-EU Azure regions — your data stays fully under Dutch law.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. All containers are cancellable on a monthly basis with no penalty. On cancellation you get a full data export (database dump + files) in an open format.

Can I migrate to my own infrastructure later?

Absolutely. Because we run standard Docker with open-source images, migration to your own Docker host, Kubernetes cluster or another provider is trivial. We provide a compose file + volume dump.

My favourite app isn't listed — possible?

Almost any open-source application with an official Docker image can be hosted. Send us a note with the tool you want, we'll roll it out. Pricing follows the resource profile of the container.
