Why do you need Microsoft 365 backup?
Common misconception: "Microsoft backs up my data, right?" No, they don’t. Microsoft guarantees platform uptime, not your data. If someone empties a mailbox, deletes OneDrive files, or wipes a SharePoint site — Microsoft has no backup. The recycle bin keeps items for 93 days maximum. After that, gone forever. That’s why we include Microsoft 365 Backup as standard.
