What you get

What does Microsoft 365 management include?

Microsoft 365 management is the daily work behind your email, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive. With us it is a fixed module on top of your licences: €5.50 per user per month. With a Business Basic licence added you end up at €10.70 per user per month, on one invoice and cancellable monthly. Management covers: • Licence advice: we check whether your licences still match what you use, so you do not pay for dormant accounts or for a plan that is heavier than you need. • Daily backup: mail, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams, in our own data centre in the Netherlands and separate from Microsoft. We restore deleted files. • Security policy: MFA through Microsoft Entra, conditional access, anti-phishing and cleaning up sharing rights that are too wide. We keep it current when Microsoft changes something. • User management: a new employee is active the same day, someone who leaves is closed off everywhere the same day. • Helpdesk: your people call us directly about Outlook, Teams and SharePoint, on working days. Which Microsoft 365 license fits an SMB?

Microsoft 365 comes in dozens of license variants — Business Basic, Business Standard, Business Premium, Apps for Business, plus the entire Enterprise line. For SMB owners, the choice is often confusing and expensive when made wrong. In practice, SMBs land on one of three flavors: • Business Basic (€5.20 p/m) — For employees who only use web versions of Office, Outlook mail and Teams. Suitable for front-office, office support and flex workers. • Business Standard (€10.83 p/m) — Including installed Office apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook desktop). The standard for most SMB employees. • Business Premium (€19.56 p/m) — On top of Standard you get Intune (device management), Defender for Business (security), Azure Information Protection (data classification). The mature choice for businesses with security requirements or confidential data. We advise independently which combination fits your business — not the most expensive, not the cheapest, but the right one.

Microsoft 365 alone is not enough

A Microsoft 365 license gives you access to email, Office and Teams. But that does not yet make your SMB safe or productive. Our clients choose the complete package: • Setup and migration — From your old environment (Exchange, Google Workspace, local Office) to Microsoft 365. Mailboxes, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams — all migrated safely without data loss. • Security — Mandatory MFA, conditional access, anti-phishing, ransomware protection. Microsoft provides the tools, we configure them correctly. • Microsoft 365 Backup — The biggest misconception in SMBs: 'my data is at Microsoft, so it is safe'. Not true. Microsoft protects against hardware failure, not against ransomware or human error. We arrange a daily backup of mailboxes, OneDrive and SharePoint in our own Dutch data center. • Management and helpdesk — New employee, departing employee, forgotten password, mailbox almost full — we handle it. • Workspace 365 — If you want all your applications, files and email in one start screen, we put Workspace 365 on top of your Microsoft 365, with Single Sign-On from your own tenant. • Device management — The laptops, phones and tablets you use to work in Microsoft 365 are managed with Microsoft Intune: updates, security policies, software and remote wipe on loss. With the Online Workspace

Microsoft 365 management with the Online Workspace

If you work on our Online Workspace, Microsoft 365 Business Premium comes with it. That licence is required, and deliberately so: the security you need anyway is already in it, so you do not pay twice for the same thing. Business Premium includes the Office apps, Microsoft Defender for Business and Intune for your devices. The sum is €38 per user per month + Microsoft 365 Business Premium €19.56 = €57.56 all-in. If you already have Business Premium, you only pay the €38. If your workplaces run somewhere else, management can be taken on separately. We adopt your existing Microsoft 365 environment, map out what is there and put the policy right. You do not have to change workplaces for that. Management of the workplaces themselves is on workplace management. This applies to every Online Workspace we deliver from 1 September 2026.

SMB owners regularly ask us the same questions. The three most common: 'Can I keep my current email?' — Yes. We migrate your existing emails (and calendars, contacts, shared mailboxes) to Microsoft 365. Your employees keep the same address and see all their old messages. 'How much does switching cost?' — Licenses are per user per month. The one-time migration depends on complexity and size — on average €1,500-€4,500 for an SMB of 10-25 employees. 'What if Microsoft raises prices?' — Microsoft adjusts prices periodically (last increase: 2024). We inform you in advance and check whether a different license mix works out better.
