Nowadays we see many companies working in the cloud, but what exactly is a cloud workspace? In this blog, we explain it clearly. At Virtual Computing this workspace is called the Online Workspace.
The Online Workspace costs €38 per user per month + Microsoft 365 Business Premium €19.56 = €57.56 all-in; already have Business Premium, then you only pay the €38. Your workspace runs on AVD on our own servers in Eindhoven and Den Bosch, so your desktop, files and applications stay in the Netherlands. What is a cloud workspace?
A cloud workspace is a virtual Windows environment running in a data center. You log in via the internet and get access to your full desktop, including all your applications, files, and settings.
How does it work?
You open an app on your laptop, tablet, or phone. Through a secure connection, you connect to your cloud workspace. Everything you see and do happens in the data center — not on your own device.

The workspace runs on AVD on our own servers in Eindhoven and Den Bosch. Your desktop, files and applications stay in the Netherlands, while sign-in, licences and security run through your own Microsoft 365. We are ISO 27001 certified.
