Which law-firm software do you host?
Including Kleos, Cicero, Tijdmaster and LegalSense. Custom case management and accounting packages like Exact and AFAS also run in our cloud.
Is cloud hosting compatible with the Dutch Lawyers' Act?
Yes, with the right data-processing agreement and data location. Virtual Computing signs a standard lawyer DPA and keeps all data in NL data centres. This complies with confidentiality and Verordening op de advocatuur.
How is data encrypted?
All communication runs over TLS 1.3, storage is AES-256 encrypted and keys are managed in our HSM. Even if a laptop is lost, case files cannot be read.
Can I work safely from court or a client's site?
Yes, via your secure cloud workspace (browser or dedicated app) with multi-factor authentication. On an unknown device there is no local cache, so no data leaks.
What does cloud hosting cost for lawyers?
From ā¬45 per user per month for a complete cloud workspace including Office 365, industry software, backup and support.
