What does Alex cost?
Alex is included in every Online Workspace package from Virtual Computing. No extra licences or add-on fees — you get Alex automatically as soon as your workspace goes live.
Is Alex the same as Microsoft Copilot?
No. Microsoft Copilot helps you in Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams with your day-to-day work. Alex helps you with your IT environment — resolving issues, checking status, getting support. They are complementary: many customers use both.
How secure is Alex with our data?
Alex runs inside our ISO 27001 + NEN 7510 certified environment. Conversations are stored confidentially within your workspace context and not used for training purposes. We do not send customer conversations to OpenAI or Anthropic for model training.
Does Alex speak English?
Yes. Alex speaks both Dutch and English and automatically detects which language you're using.
What if Alex can't resolve my issue?
Then Alex automatically creates a ticket with the conversation context and routes it to the right colleague. You don't have to explain anything twice.
Can Alex reset passwords for other users too?
For regular users, Alex can reset your own password. For admin rights or managing other users it goes through an approved flow — ISO 27001 security requirements still apply.
Does Alex work on mobile?
Yes. Alex runs on desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile — anywhere you have access to your Online Workspace or virtualcomputing.nl.
